Kick Me Signs logo

Kick Me Signs is an urban cyclist company devoted to keeping cyclist safe while navigating busy urban streets. The owner spent years cycling the streets of Denver for both work and commuting.

After many crashes and close calls with car drivers he wanted to raise awareness of laws in Colorado that allow a cyclist to use the full lane.

On this project I created the visual identity, a retail hang card, and the sign itself. We developed the material needs together, prototyped and prepared the sign for production with print & physical dimension specifications.

This logo features the front sprocket of a single speed bicycle to call out the devotion of the company to cyclists. The primary color is inspired by the ubiquitous color of traffic safety signs. The typeface is modeled after the US Highway Administration's Highway Gothic.
